Summarize it according to these guidelines:

Guidelines for Summarizing:
1. The first sentence should state the author's name, title of article and purpose for writing the article.

2. Use the present tense when writing about someone else's work.

3. Write one sentence only for every idea the author has written.

4. Use connectors to join the ideas together. (However, Therefore, In addition, Thus, Because, As a result…..)

5. Include the main point, the supporting points and finally the conclusion.

6. Make sure to preserve the author’s meaning and tone.
