Once upon a time there was a little girl called Jane.

Jane loved fairy tales, her mother always told her every night before she went to bed one beautiful new fairy tale.

By the time Jane was six years old her mother died. It was too much for the little girl so she decided to run away, far away, where nobody would find her.

She took her dog Spot so she will not fill so lonely, she took something to eat and she found money in the house which she decided to be very useful.

And of course her books that she couldn’t separate from them for a minute.

So she started to walk. She didn’t know where she was going and she didn’t care.

The people in the big city didn’t mind also that a six years old girl is walking alone with her dog- they had their own problems.

Soon, Jane found her self in a little village, she liked it. It was simple and beautiful in its own way.

“Who are you little girl? I didn’t saw you her before”, a young man asked her.

He seemed very nice, he rode on a lovely brown horse, and he had a big smile on his face.

“My name is Jane and I come from the big city”, she answered him, proudly. She felt so grown up!

“Oh really? So where are your parents?” the young man asked.

“My mom died, and my dad ran away. I came here all by my self.” Jane answered.

“Oh… sorry about your parents, I didn’t know… anyway, do you know where will you stay while your here?” He asked.

“Actually I don’t know… I didn’t think of that…” she said. She was really disappointed. What she will do now? The answer came immediately.

“You can stay at my house if want! And your dog too! Jump on the horse and I’ll take you there!” the young man said.

“Really?! Thank you so much!” Jane said happily

“You have a very nice house...” said Jane.

They were at the young man’s house. Jane loved it; it looked very special for her, because it looks like the house from the fairy tales that her mother told her about. For one minute she thought it was some kind of sign, but then she forgot all about it because the young man asked her,

“Sorry, but I didn’t introduce my self- my name is Harry…”

“Oh... nice to meet you Harry, and thanks again for letting me stay here” said Jane politely.

Harry gave her something to eat and drink, and then he made her bad so she will sleep after she finish eating, because she looked very tired from the long trip she had.

Jane fell asleep immediately.

In her dream she saw fairies lying on leaves of one beautiful tree. Then, she saw her self in the dream, talking to the fairies about her mother. It was strange because the fairies said that they know someone who could help her.

Jane woke up with a lot of questions on her mind.

“They could help me? What do they mean?!”

She decided to tell Harry about her dream; maybe he could help her understand what does it means. Jane sat on a chair next to Harry, and start telling him about the dream.

“I tell you something if you promise me that you won’t tell anybody about it ok?” he said to her.

“Ok, I promise”. She answered.

“Do you believe in fairies?” Harry asked her.

“Sure!  My mother always read me about them! I love them so much and I really want to meet one too! But my mom said that it will be impossible because fairies don’t exist...and they only exist in fairy tales...” she said.

“Well... she is wrong. They do exist.” said Harry.

Jane couldn’t believe it. It was amazing! She started to ask him a lot of questions about them, like- where do they live, how does they look like and if he met a fairy ones… etc.

But Harry stopped her.

“Woo! Slow down! You’re going to fast! I’ll tell you all from the beginning…

When I was about your age, I always loved to play in the forest but I always played alone and it started to be very boring to play with myself, so one time when I went there, I saw something strange, some kind of a small light. I decided to fallow it because I was very curios. Then, I saw a lot of small lights, I took two steps closer and I saw them. They were amazing… and beautiful! They immediately became friends with me, they ask me to do not tell anybody about their existents…”

“So why are you telling me?” asked Jane.

“Because I saw that you are special, and you are not that kind of a person that will tell about it to other people. Anyway, do you want to see them?” he asked.

“Do I want to se them?! Sure!!! Let’s go right now!” she said.

When they got to the forest, Jane was so excited that she didn’t know what to do with her self, she never met a fairy before, and so it was unbelievable to her.

They walked quietly and then she saw them. The beautiful fairies first were really scared of her, but Harry told them that they don’t need to worry because Jane is a really special girl and she won’t tell anybody.

They introduce them selves and started answering Jane’s questions.

After a while Harry left, because he was late for his job, but Jane stayed with the fairies... because she didn’t have something better to do.

Soon, she found her self telling the fairies all about her mother and how much she love and want to see her again, just like in the dream!

The fairies listened carefully. And then they said:

“We think we could help you! We know a magician that could give you one wish! And you can wish that your mother will come back to life!”

“What? Seriously? Where can I find him?” asked Jane.

“Oh you don’t need to find him!” they told her. And then they started to make noise that Jane did not like at all.

Immediately she saw a little old man, a very little old man, who was even shorter then her!

The fairies explained the magician what the little girl’s wish is. He didn’t say anything for a while and then explained:

“I don’t think that it is possible… to bring your mom back to life, but I will see what I can do. Tomorrow I’ll give you the answer.” And then he disappeared.

Jane didn’t know what to think, if she need to be disappointed or not, because the magician didn’t told her yet what the answer is.

“Guess I need to wait until tomorrow”. She said to the fairies.

Next Morning, Jane woke up and saw the magician waiting for her on a chair in the room. She was so curios to know what he is going to tell her that she jump out of her bad.

“And… what did you found out? Is it possible to bring my Mom back to life?” she asked.

“No, unfortunately it is not possible, but! There is a way that you still meet her” said the magician.

“What way? What way? What way?” she asked curiously.

“Well… I can bring her back to earth just for one day, so… you still want to meet her?” the magician asked.

“Of course!” said the little girl.

“Ok, so let’s do it...” he said.

The magician started to say some funny words that Jane didn’t understand. It was the spell. When he finished, there was weird movement, and then Jane saw her beautiful mother standing in front of her.

Jane told her mother about the fairies, about Harry, the magician and the way she went all by her self to the village.

She was happy, and her mother also. But soon they needed to separate from each other.

They kissed for goodbye and then Jane’s mother was all gone again.

But Jane felt so happy that she saw her dear mother again, that she has now her fairies and Harry.

And then, she said quietly to her self- “wishes do come true…”
