Students write about the Lions in Jerusalem

Maya My favorite lion is the one with the Armenian art. I love the colors of the lion from Safra Square. I love the way it's drawn and everything about it. Don't you?

Gali I chose lion number 50- Geometry- in Hillel Street. The lion, unlike other lions in Jerusalem, is not too colorful, it has nice blue colors and simple forms on its back, and it reminds me of drawing of M.C. Echer

Sefi I chose the lion of Jerusalem view because the lion is simple and nice and this fits to Jerusalem's streets and it has nice colors

Matan & Limor We chose "cultural collage" because Limor has horrible taste. Now seriously- the lion radiates optimistic notes and it's colours are varied, like Jerusalem and the people living in it. We think it represents open-mindness and acceptance of all people- be they as different and colorful as they are. Besides, it's cute.

Leonid I chose the "Here and Gone" #64 lion because it look's really cool in silver

Alex I chose this lion created by Shirley Pektor and called Dear Ruso, because It has beautiful paintings of nature like birds, weeds, colorful flowers and it has big yellow eyes that I really like, and also because I like nature and pictures of it King George St. / near the Tourism Office and Lion number 28

I chose the Lion-Camel at Jaffa St. / Luntz Corner because it has black camels all over it, and it looks like a Dalmatian.

Yael I chose the "Beitar fan" lion because I like Beitar' and I'm also their fan

Wild Boneca: My favorite lion is no. 39- LINIAR by Itzik Schwartz.I like this lion because first of all I like his location in the city. the view from the bell park is very beautiful and the park too and I like the lion because he painted in a very cool way, the connection between black and white in circles and in waves is very surrealistic. and I like it :-)

Gleb Hi Ora my favorite lion is number 37 "Dreaming in Shackles"
